How long does my hair have to be to get hair extensions?

We recommend for your natural hair to be at least 3 inches long (to cover the tiny MicroLink attachments). However, if your hair is at least 1 inch we may be able to accommodate you depending on your desired look, which will be discussed in the consultation.

 

 

 Is it possible for me to buy my own extensions?  If so, what kind should I buy and would you charge less for your attachment services?

For Afro-Textured or African American hair should my hair be relaxed prior to service?

Yes, for Afro/African/ African American (if your hair is typed 4A or 4B) textured hair we require for your hair to be relaxed prior to servicing.  For Afo-textured hair, our imported hair blends best with relaxed textures.  However you are welcome to provide your own hair according to your desired match for your hair, otherwise we will match your hair with our imported hair brands.

 

  

 

Maintenance Questions:

 

How do I care for my hair extensions after they are attached?

We recommend for our clients to care for their attached hair extensions in the same fashion of caring for their own hair.  You will be able to wash, blow and even curl your hair extensions.  Hot tools are no danger. You can touch-up your color or relaxed the sides of your hair roots while wearing these real human hair extensions. You will be able to engage in all your normal activities, like swimming, exercising, and dancing, without worrying about damaging your new hair. 

 

 

 

Would it be possible to push my hair up in a ponytail with these extensions?

Yes, you can where your hair up in a ponytail with our fusion hair extensions.  With our MicroLink hair extensions method you will have the versatility to where you hair in a ponytail and many other styles as you desire.

 

 

Do you offer routine maintenance for the attached extensions?

Yes, usually our clients return after 3 or 4 months for full service, and other clients return after 1 or 2 months for minor touch-ups replacements.  Also, some of our clients return, as they desire for a regular wash, blow dry, and curl.  We recommend for our clients to return according to their hair growth.  Also, we welcome clients that desire assistance with regular maintenance of their hair extensions such as washing, blow drying and curling. 

 

 

Will it be possible to reuse my extensions when its time for a touch up?

Yes you may, the purity of the hair that we provide allows you to reuse it for years. It is REAL hair.  With our service, you will not have to keep buying new "bundles" of hair

 

  

How are the extensions removed?

Our professionals or a professional (experienced in hair extension ring removal) may remove your hair extensions.  The removal process is simple and is achieved by simply opening each MicroLink and taking each extension out.  We will demonstrate this procedure at your consultation or prior to your appointment.

 

 

For European-Textured or Caucasian/White American hair, considering that many people with European textured hair wash their hair often and almost daily, how often will I be able to wash my hair with your hair extensions? 

Washing your hair will not damage your hair extensions (that are applied by us).  We have tested our hair extensions technique and our attachment method have been proven with assurance of the hold, safety and durability regardless of any hair texture.  Therefore we recommend for our clients to wash their hair-w/extensions as needed and according to your routine.  While some may wash their hair-w/extensions every 2 to 3 days, others may wash their hair every week and then others may wash their hair every 2 weeks.  However, many of our clients with European texture do wash their hair-w/extensions on a regular basis without experiencing any damaging side effects. 

 

Our hair washing recommendation for MicroLinks:

Although our tests have proven that you can wash your MicroLinked hair extensions everyday, our recommendation for washing would be limited to once every 3 days, or once every week (or longer according to how long your hair maintains cleanliness).

Do you offer any other hair services besides applying and maintaining the extensions?

As Natural Hair Extension Specialists our main service that we offer are specifically applying and maintaining your extensions.    However, if your desire additional services additional fee will be applied.  As hair Extension Specialists, our focus is on properly blending and attaching hair extensions that will match your own hair.  Hair extensions are our business and specialty and our main focus.  For this reason our professionals are referred to as "Extension Specialist."

What is the cost of your hair extension service?

The length of your own hair, length of desired hair, and the amount needed to get your ideal style will determine the price quoted at your consultation.

What is the usual cost of Fusion Hair Extensions and do you charge within the usual range for Fusion?

Our cost range for Fusion Hair Extensions is a bit lowered than those that charge anywhere from the usual $900 to $1000 and $1500 which is the usual price in New York.  However, our price for Fusion is less than $1500, less than $1000 and even less than $900.  We guarantee that are prices will beat competitors prices.

Do you charge for the Consultation?

Yes, we charge a $25 fee for consultations.

 

 

What takes place at the Consultation?

At the consultation, the type of look is discussed and your hair is properly matched with our supplied textures.   We will determine the best attachment process for your hair that will assure growth.  If your hair qualifies on terms of condition and length, then an order for your extensions is placed for you if you choose to order at that time (to have ready for your appointment).  If you do not place your order at the consultation you may provide your own hair if an appointment is made during your consultation.

 

 

How long will I have to wait for an appointment after my consultation?

Usually, we will have the straight brands available for immediate service.  Other brands may take 5 to 10 days for your hair shipment to arrive from our imports (once you have placed your order)

 

Is it possible to receive service on the same day of the consultation?

Yes, if we have your texture hair available in stock and an open time slot to render our services.

 If you are not located in my area, is it possible for an Extension Specialist to travel to my location?

Yes, if there is an available Hair Extension specialist available to travel to you.  However, if you would like an Extension Specialist to come to you, there is an additional charge (priced according to distance $0.79 per mile)
